The Williams Blair is a small privately held company offering single source responsibility for the successful completion of your self storage project.

Having been actively involved in the self storage industry as an owner, developer, contractor and operator since 1975 the changes in the industry have been very rewarding and challenging. The industry has moved from a "Mom/Pop" operation to a multi-billion dollar industry with REIT’s being listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

The Williams Blair Company, after careful evaluation and input from the owner, is able to assist and make recommendations to the owner in:

• Evaluating and selecting favorable sites
• Coordinating and assimilating information for feasibility studies
• Performing market studies to evaluate rental rates, unit mix, and market demand
• Obtaining city, state, county, and governmental approvals for necessary permits
• Selecting, and assisting the architect in designing the project
• Selecting, interviewing, and recommending a contractor
• Assisting in value engineering the project to bring it in within budget
• Assisting contactor in selection of subcontractors
• Obtaining construction and permanent financing, and evaluating lender loan packages
• Supervising and evaluating the construction of the project
• Hiring and training on-site managers for the operation of the project
• Supervising and managing the facility, in the day to day operations
• All aspects as to the construction, management, and operations of a self storage facility

All the above have been successfully completed in building, owning and operating over 17 self storage projects.
